We are expanding our Interventional Radiology services and are hiring for new technologists. The IR Technologist will provide clinical assistance during procedures and assist the physician in expediting needed care. The IR Tech will provide technical assistance in CT, US and fluoroscopy guided procedures. Quality, efficiency, and service excellence are all essential parts of this position. Techs will also assist as a scrub tech or circulator during procedures, and be responsible for supply charge, documentation and charging procedures. Maintaining patient efficiency by spending appropriate amounts of time for each task and interacting will be an essential job function. Adhering to the UK behavioral standards during interactions with patients, coworkers, and physicians, as well as external and internal customers will also be essential. Maintaining privacy and confidentiality are required. There will be a potential for advancement to Master Tech after obtaining advanced registry and gaining equipment proficiency. Applicants who possess the Associate’s degree & 3 years related experience (or equivalent) + ARRT or ARRT certification are eligible to be moved upon hire to the grade 12 Interventional Master Technologist/UKHC position ($30.00/hour - $53.67/hour).Skills / Knowledge / AbilitiesPACS, EPICDoes this position have supervisory responsibilities?
