Job Title: Technician

Job Description

We are seeking seasoned commercial technicians with a minimum of 2 years' verifiable experience performing cable work in commercial or industrial environments. Your primary role will involve running EMT, Rigid and PVC conduits, setting up and pulling cables and conductors in conduit, installing and terminating lighting and various wiring devices, and performing terminations as directed. Work may require occasional overtime, sometimes not scheduled in advance. This role does not require any medical or certification.

Hard Skills

• Minimum 2 years' verifiable experience in cable work

• Capable of running EMT, Rigid and PVC conduits

• Proficiency in using manual and power threading and bending equipment

• Ability to install and terminate lighting and wiring devices

• Proficiency in using power tooling in accordance with safety and operational manuals

• Capability to perform terminations i.e. panels, equipment, control systems

Soft Skills

• Able to take direction from supervision

• Capable of accomplishing tasks in a timely manner

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Lexington, Kentucky.

Work Environment

The job will primarily be based in new construction and commercial environments. You will be required to have personal tools and adhere to PPE requirements, including a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel toe shoes, and a high visibility vest.
