Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Director of Operations for a permanent, direct hire opportunity in the Lexington, KY area for a global leader in manufacturing personal protective equipment for various industries, such as emergency response, life sciences, and industrial health and safety. The Director of Operations is a pivotal role responsible for spearheading the development and execution of the strategic and annual plans. This individual ensures the alignment of safety, quality, customer experience, and talent development with the company's commitment to profitable growth. The Director of Operations must lead the development and implementation of productive and cost-effective operations, impactful investments, clear processes, and strong talent management to meet current and future needs of the business. They will work in alignment with Product Strategy, Product Development, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Quality, Risk, Compliance, Human Resources, and Finance.They are tasked with fostering a customer-centric product company atmosphere that employees regard as a special place to work. The Director is instrumental in driving continuous improvement, enhancing productivity, and managing investments to bolster financial health across all time horizons. They are also charged with optimizing the use of corporate assets, ranging from the physical plant to computer systems and inventories. A key responsibility includes ensuring adherence to a myriad of standardssafety, quality, regulatory, environmental, and workforcewhile also leading the development of processes for future compliance. The Director develops systems that not only track but also transparently communicate performance targets crucial for strategic delivery. They champion lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, and are dedicated to nurturing a high-trust, high-performance culture by mentoring and developing the organization's talent. This is a full-time permanent role with an incredibly employee focused manufacturing company in the Lexington area.

Skills and Requirements

BS degree in Business Management, Engineering, or related field

Minimum 10 years of experience in a manufacturing organization

Minimum 5 years of experience as a manager of people Masters degree from an accredited institution

Six Sigma Blackbelt Certification.

Skilled in using data and analytics to inform decisions and prioritize initiatives null
