Shift | Primarily Days; Monday-Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; and the position requires some evenings and weekends, as well as travel for events. |
Job Summary | This position helps to plan, coordinate and conduct all the 4-H Horse activities in Kentucky, including, but not limited to: State Horse Contests, State Horse Show, and any other equine youth-related events. Position manages the youth development activities related to horses and supports adult extension program. Duties include, but not limited to: develop materials to assess program, periodically survey stakeholders, implement needed programs. This position coordinates KY participation to Southern Regionals, QH congress, Eastern Nationals, provides coaching to individuals and teams. This position updates materials, develops new materials, manages and maintains the 4-H Horse website, and social media accounts, and manages the 4-H Horse academy levels. Other duties as assigned.
