Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Description

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will manage and collect outstanding accounts from businesses, ensuring that account information is up-to-date, reconciled, and payments are made promptly. This role involves building relationships with businesses, providing excellent customer service, and devising plans for past due invoices.

Hard Skills

  • Identifying overdue accounts (Collections)

  • Making outbound and inbound calls to/from businesses (High volume, 40-50 calls)

  • Negotiating payment plans

  • Communicating with customers to answer billing questions, handle complaints, and recover debts

  • Maintaining files on account financial status and keeping detailed notes of all communications and actions

  • Investigating billing issues and disputes in a timely manner

  • Developing strategies and implementing plans of action to better serve customers

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Lexington, Kentucky and some days remote.

Work Environment

M-F (8-5PM OR 9-6PM)

Fast-paced office setting

Hybrid schedules (2 days remote and 3 in-office)

3 weeks of training (8-5PM and CANNOT miss training during those first 3 weeks)
