Arteriors Home Product Development Merchandiser in Lewisville, Texas

The Merchandiser will work closely with both the Design and Product Development teams to ensure that superior products, product planning, and product information are provided within an accurate timeline to internal and external customers.Responsibilities

  • Manage product lifecycle of all items by

  • Liaise between purchasing and design from assortment planning phase to product selection

  • Collaborating with Purchasing and designers to plan, develop and execute merchandising strategies that balance company objectives

  • Provide detailed assortment plan recommendations by category

  • Analyzing SKU counts, sales levels, and category attribute performance to remove slow selling items the most efficient and effective manner

  • Manage all attributes and specifications for product through

  • Confirming all information is correctly entered into database with constant supervision and maintenance

  • Distributing timely data cross departmentally

  • Overseeing accurate and competitive product pricing

  • Develop and maintain vendor and merchandising programs with detailed reporting (vendor scorecard, new intro scorecard, target pricing, matrix info)

  • Maximize product knowledge throughout the company by

  • Providing thoughtful, creative, and impactful monthly trainings on product

  • Gather and utilize feedback to continuously evolve trainings

  • Collect feedback from internal and external customers as well as competitor research to ensure superior product

  • Assertively seeks all opportunities available to develop new skills and increase personal development to achieve highest performance possible.

  • Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization’s objectives.

You possess the following qualifications-

  • 4-7 years’ experience in retail or wholesale product planning, product management, or similar role

  • from an accredited college or university

  • Intermediate to advanced-level proficiency with Microsoft Excel

  • Working knowledge of CAD, preferred

  • Experience working within a Product Lifecycle Management system, preferred

  • Luxury brand or product experience, preferred
