Job Duties

• Competitive straight salary model linked to quality and value versus productivity

• Medical school loan repayment up to $90,000

• Recruitment Loan up to $50,000

• Monthly stipend available to residents and fellows upon acceptance of a formal employment offer with Geisinger

• Practice 100% Breast Imaging with no nights, weekends, holidays or call

• Opportunities to participate in teaching and/or research, if desired

• ACR accredited Breast Imaging Center of Excellence

• Excellent benefits package, including retirement options, relocation assistance, paid malpractice including tail coverage

• Continuing medical education of 15 working days and $4500 CME dollars

ABOUT GEISINGER LEWISTOWN HOSPITAL (GLH): is a 123-bed acute care community hospital serving the 80,000 residents of Mifflin and Juniata counties and members of the contiguous counties of Centre, Perry, Snyder and Huntingdon. Established in 1905, the hospital provides inpatient, outpatient, wellness and community services while employing over 1,000 full-time and part-time employees and providing a Medical Staff consisting of more than 150 physicians and allied health practitioners representing specialties ranging from family medicine, internal medicine and cardiology to infectious disease and general/cardiovascular surgery.
