Financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting will be among your duties as Senior Accountant. Candidate must possess top-notch analytical skills. This full-time position includes solid compensation, good benefits, and the possibility to grow.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary

• Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

• Review financial information such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. and present analysis in a clear manner

• Apply oneself to various department-wide initiatives

• Provide Balance Sheet account reconciliations

• Provide monthly accounting closure procedures and deliverables, which includes journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP

• Successfully collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, controls and provide support on special requests when necessary

• Commitment to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

• Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

Requirements - Previous experience in public accounting is highly valued

• Ability to meet deadlines

• BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

• Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required

• Accounts Receivable (AR) experience

• Well-founded grasp of Manufacturing Company

• Proven knowledge of cost accounting

• Solid understanding of month end closings

• Annual Budget experience

• Purchase Orders experience preferred

• Accounts Payable (AP) experience required

• Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

• Efficient in ERP systems

• Able to manage time well

• Strong analytical capabilities and discernment

• Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges

• Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment

• 5+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience

• SOX internal control assessments (Section 404) experience

• Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills
