LeRoy Plastics Inc Platisol Operator in LeRoy, New York
Job Function:
To run all assigned scheduled jobs as instructed and required according to the job description of "Platisol Operator".
Essential Functions:
1. Receives routings, prints, and work orders for jobs from Platisol Group Leader.
2. Molds all platisol PVC parts.
3. Assist when requested to develop new parts/prototypes as required by customers. Establish exact process parameters, production capability and set up all new jobs and requirements when performing this task.
4. Process Control are not to be changed unless approved by quality or production related Management.
5. Provides quality assurance within the entire department at all times.
6. Reduces the overall defective parts ratio and usage/scrap and waste within the department.
7. Promotes superior personal conduct, attendance, appearance and attitude in order to set an example.
8. Keeps equipment and departmental work area clean and orderly.
9. Able to lift 25+ pounds repeatedly and material handling 55 gallon drums.
Additional responsibilities:
Provide additional support to other departments as needed.
