Description

We are seeking a skilled Part-Time (30 hours per week) Full Charge Bookkeeper for a rapidly growing client, located in Lenexa, Kansas. This role involves performing a variety of accounting activities, analyzing key business data, enhancing account systems and processing for a growing business. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent attention to detail and communication skills in a hybrid work setting.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Managing all aspects of general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and financial reporting

• Analyzing and reporting on financial status including income statement variances, communicating financial results to management, budget preparation and analysis

• Ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close

• Overseeing payroll and related activities

• Reconciling bank and credit card statements

• Implementing, maintaining, and adhering to internal controls while overseeing all aspects of the general ledger

• Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax requirements and filings

  Requirements

• Have 5+ years of experience in maintaining full set books

• Demonstrable proficiency with QuickBooks

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Strong time management and organizational skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
