The Opportunity

Ferguson is looking to train our future leaders from the ground-up, starting in our entry-level Credit Management Training Program on August 7, 2023.

How We Train You

You will begin in one of our designated training locations for 12-18 months, where you will train 1-on-1 with a current Ferguson Credit Manager, learning what it means to be successful in credit and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with our credit department, customers, and sales associates to ensure you have all the tools needed to be a skilled credit associate.

What Happens after Training

Upon successful completion of the training period, you will have the opportunity to be promoted into an entry-level Assistant Market Credit Manager or Market Credit Manager role. You may remain in your training location or relocate for this position pending availability. Availability is based on skill alignment and business needs with consideration to your geographic preferences.

As an Assistant Market Credit Manager, you will work together within your assigned market to manage a portfolio of accounts. You will serve an important role supporting our customer-focused strategy, serving as a key point of contact for our customers, with alignment to the needs of the local Ferguson leadership teams.

As a Market Credit Manager, you will work together with our sales and management teams to make strategic decisions that affect our company’s largest asset, accounts receivable, and our company’s earnings overall. You will also be prepared to make decisions on extending lines of credit, pursue collections, find creative solutions for Ferguson’s customers and provide outstanding customer service.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of related military experience

  • Current Ferguson Associates: 2+ years of internal Ferguson experience
