PAY RANGE: Depending on Certifications and experience:

JOB SUMMARY

Performs a variety of skilled duties related to the construction, installation, maintenance and repair of city pressurized irrigation systems. May operate machinery to clean water systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Graduation from high school.
• Previous experience with underground water systems, equipment placement, residential service locations, easements and right-of-way specifications is preferred.
• Must have Utah CDL license or obtain it within 6 months.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Skilled in operating various types of tools and power equipment to perform essential functions.
• Ability to develop effective working relationships with supervisor, subordinates and the public.
• Will be required to pass a drug test and background check.
• Position level depends on experience and State Water Distribution Certification.
• Must obtain State Water Distribution Certification Grade 1 within 12 months.
• RESPONSE TIME: Employee must reside within 30 minutes of City Limits (based on average Google Maps drive time) for on-call purposes. Employee can take up to 6 months to relocate within appropriate response time area.
