TENNIS LEAGUE INSTRUCTOR

PAY RATE: $19.57 per hour
SCHEDULE: Temporary - Season starts June 5th and ends August 8th (Dates may be adjusted.)
DEPARTMENT: Recreation
JOB SUMMARY
Tennis League instructor will instruct the youth Tennis League on improving their match play and will attend matches around the county.
RESPONSIBLITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 21 years of age. At least 2 years teaching tennis skills preferred.
- Must have knowledge of tennis foundations and have the ability to demonstrate proper tennis technique.
- Familiarity with ladder format and pro set add scoring a plus.
- Must be available for all Tennis League practices and meets.
- Tennis League has practices starting June 5th to July 11th every Wednesday and Thursday from 3pm to 7pm. Matches for Tennis League are every Monday and Tuesday from June 10th to July 16th from 9am to 11am.
- A positive attitude, excellent communication skills and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch for extended periods of time.
- Ability and willingness to learn all aspects of the tennis programs and other duties as assigned.
