The Role You'll be a key leader in safeguarding our organization's digital assets and ensuring business resilience. This role demands a deep understanding of the evolving cyber threat landscape and a keen ability to strategize, build, and lead a high-performing CSIRT team. You'll collaborate closely with Security leadership, IT, and other key partners to proactively detect, respond to, and mitigate cybersecurity incidents. Details Include * Strategic Vision: Partner with Security leadership to define and drive CSIRT Operations' strategic vision, operational plans, and success metrics, aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. * Partner Engagement: Build strong partnerships across the organization, crafting continuous feedback loops that allow the CSIRT Operations team to understand evolving business needs and prioritize security solutions. * Operational Excellence: Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals, ensuring efficient event handling processes, from triage and investigation to containment, eradication, and recovery. * Technology Adoption: Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats and tools, evaluating and implementing security technologies to enhance our CSIRT capabilities. * Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of continuous learning and improvement, conducting reviews and driving the evolution of the CSIRT operations team's response capabilities. * Communication and Reporting: Represent the CSIRT in executive reviews and ensure regular communication, updates, and follow-ups on incident response activities and key performance indicators. Requirements * 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations, incident response, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role. * Consistent record of developing and improving operational processes, implementing metrics, and driving quality assurance initiatives within a security or IT environment. * Experience leading and escalating security incidents, conducting investigations, and coordinating response efforts across teams. * Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a technical team, fostering a collaborative and impactful environment. * Solid understanding of incident response methodologies, security tools, and...
