WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Menu Strategy FP&A Sr. Analyst is responsible for developing and regularly maintaining forecasting processes, analytical tools, and financial modeling in support of Restaurant check and cost. In this role, they are also responsible for developing proactive solutions and communicating potential impacts on the overall business. The role requires coordination and collaborative partnership with Marketing, Supply Chain and Operations under the direction of the Director Marketing FP&A.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

• Check and cost model maintenance that incorporates various impacts from pricing, loyalty discounts, early dine mix impacts, menu deletions, new item introduction and trades, menu mix and check add-on preference assumptions.

• Develops promotional window forecast and reporting to determine menu mix impacts of LTO offerings and choice of photo featured menu items.

• Sets up projections and reporting on various tests across the menu strategy platforms.

• Performs routine to complex financial analysis according to established procedures, departmental guidelines, and regulatory requirements applicable to the work

• Performs financial oversight for assigned area(s)

• Maintains active communications with key business partners and presents findings

• Provides analytical support in the conversion of brand strategies into innovative action plans

• Leverages data analysis to determine the financial impact of proposed business initiatives

• Proactively identifies discrepancies in data, determine cause and communicate questions/ adjustments to appropriate accounting departments

• Prepares and coordinates various weekly, monthly and/or year-end analyses, reports and financial reports for management review

• Participates in meetings providing analysis that recognizes both successes and opportunities in the area

• Identifies and communicates emerging trends and their impact so action is prioritized appropriately
