WestRock Company Operator Trainee in Lebanon, Tennessee
WestRock in Lebanon is hiring for an Operator Trainee in our Finishing department. This is a semi-skilled role where we will train you to become an operator of your own line. No experience needed just the desire to learn, troubleshoot and a technical mindset is a plus. You will train with an Operator on Day shift 6A-6P on a 2-2-3 rotation giving you every other weekend off. The pay starts at $21.50 and more as you train in the role. When an Operator role opens up and you are ready- you will move to that role (could be night shift or days) and you will get a pay increase then also. What you will be Doing
· Training with an Operator to learn the job
· Reading the schedule
· Gathering the product to set the machine up to run
· Setting the machine up to specific standards based on the product
· Assisting operators in different sections might be used to feed or inspect/take out product at times
· Working fast paces to keep the line running
· Being a champion to our plant and customer on safety and quality
· Some troubleshooting
Skills Needed
· Some technical skills are a plus to learn the machine
· Able to work in a fast-paced environment
· Able to take direction and work in a team
· Must be able to multi-task
· Follow all safety, quality, and food safety processes
