Permobil, Inc. Global Logistics Development Manager - (To be located in Lebanon, New Berlin or Belleville) in LEBANON, Tennessee

This position will be located in the Nashville, New Berlin or Belleville office Key Duties: Ensure consistently supply performance in the Logistics Processes. Drive continuous improvement and develop procedures for coordination of logistics and packaging materials with other functional areas such as sales, production, or quality assurance. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to create a reliable, agile network that ensures the best service and customer experience at the lowest total cost Identify service performance deviations and cost improvements within supply chain, bring forward recommendations and drive implementation. Partners with operations on development of strategic plans to ensure optimize our overall warehousing, logistics and customer fulfillment over the long term. Partner with our warehouse operations across multiple facilities to coordinate the most optimal inbound and outbound efficiency of freight. Working in conjunction with senior leadership and utilizing financial data to drive performance improvements. Continuously improve operational strategies to support business requirements across sites globally. Generating improvement programs and practices that deliver a high level of customer satisfaction. Review system reports, addressing potential conflicts and/or misinformation. Ensures that local sourcing practices and processes conform to overall IP polices and/or guidelines. Utilize their strong organizational skills, attention to detail and technical competence to work in our ERP system. Partnership with Sales, Sourcing, Engineering Supply Chain Management on key initiatives. Coordinates with numerous middle and last mile logistics partners to ensure all logistics, shipping and receiving activities are performed as planned. First point of contact for Production Units of escalations. Education Requirements: This position requires a bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, business administration, or equivalent. Required Knowledge/Skills: Engineering or Logistics Sourcing. Experience from working in a global company with international logistics. Highly analytically skilled. Strong perseverance. Ability to work with others and influence. Experience Required: The successful candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated performance in technical competencies in logistics, Air/Ocean carrier management, warehousing, operations. SCM process improvement, packaging experience preferred. Supplier Management.
