Manpower Engineering is seeking a creative, curious technician with mechanical skills and who is driven by learning about how things work

Work will be onsite at our client’s Lebanon, IN location. Direct/perm position on day shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00am – 3:30 pm.

Day-to-day activities include:

• Pull parts and tools and assemble equipment and their subsystems

• Disassemble, reinspect and re-build equipment returned from field.

• Embrace lean manufacturing

• Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment

• Ability, or be willing to learn, to read drawings or schematics

• Perform other related tasks as assigned or required to support manufacturing operations

What is Required to be Successful in This Position

• High School Diploma or GED

• This role is seeking someone with experience in several different skill sets including mechanical work and manufacturing. Around 1 year of experience in manufacturing is preferred.

• Must have good attendance record – need a reliable person who will show up

• Military veterans encouraged to apply

• Reliability is a must, willingness to learn and adapt to new requirements and environments

• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, meeting customer deadlines

• Willing and able to follow required policies (i.e., DOT, FAA, Drug Testing, etc. as required)

• This role requires someone to truly think outside the box when determining what should be customized for the job at hand.

Preferred qualifications:

• A year of forklift experience preferred

• Two years’ mechanical equipment experience preferred
