Cambria Training Specialist in Le Sueur, Minnesota
Job Description: This position is responsible for supporting and coordinating the daily tasks of the Training Department at the Cambria Production Facility. Roles & Responsibilities: Create new hire training materials / customized training calendars for various shifts Create training binders for cross-training Coordinate on the floor training schedule for support departments Set up room for orientation, create name cards, have applicable sign-off documents ready, etc. Be a part of - initial training, re-certifications, removals, etc. Be a part of new hire orientation and post-orientation Conduct classroom portion of safety certifications (initial training and re-certifications) Perform job duties safely as outlined in the Safety and Training Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Additional duties as assigned by management Own, maintain, train, and continuously improve the following programs: hazardous communication, lock-out-tag-out, crane, forklift, respirator protection, confined space, fall protection, etc. Generate monthly reports for all training and communication reports with operations leadership, providing summary of results and driving areas of opportunity to closure. Requirements: Ability to read and write in English to complete required documentation Basic computer skills Ability to become certified in forklift and overhead crane Education: High School, some college preferred Experience: 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing field Systems: Proficiency with Google Suite products Qualifications & Skills: Thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with concurrent projects to manage Ability to effectively prioritize and manage changing demands Ability to problem-solve, be comfortable making tough decisions, and willingness to take full ownership of responsibilities Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience preferred Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills High level of attention to detail and sense of urgency in completing work Reliable and punctual Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual Experience in manufacturing field Knowledge of lock-out-tag-out Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Products Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills Physical Requirements: Lift up to 50 lbs.
