WHITEROCK ELECTRIC, INC Commercial Journeyman Electrician in LAYTON, Utah
Commercial Journeyman Electrician - Must have current Utah license to be considered for this position.
Requirements
Be able to perform typical commercial Journeyman Electrician duties with minimal supervision:
Read & understand blueprints
Plan out daily tasks for a project and efficiently run conduit runs, cables, layout device locations, as well as coordinate with other trades, the GC and/or our customers
Pull wire, install wiring devices, make up panels, transformers, lighting controls, etc...
Promote a safe and positive work environment
Effectively work along side other journeyman as well as teaching and overseeing apprentice(s).
Qualifications
Must have:
Valid UT drivers license
Current UT Journeyman -5504 Electrical License
Your own transportation to and from work
Be able to lift 50 lbs on a semi regular basis
Have all electrical hand tools
Additional Information
Established in 2007 and based out of Layton Utah we service the Wasatch Front with a strong focus on Davis, Weber, & Salt Lake county. Looking to permanently add a couple good Journeyman with a current/valid Sate of Utah Commercial Journeyman license who is interested in joining and helping build on a solid team. Journeymen who are interested in running small jobs working up will have the opportunity which also include perks of a company vehicle (with a good driving record) and monthly foreman bonus opportunities.
Applicant must be honest, promote a positive/fun work environment, poses good electrical skills, be willing to work with and train an apprentice who will be assigned to them while maintaining a acceptable job productivity, as well as have a strong work ethic.
Other pertinent skills:
Blue print reading, scheduling, project look ahead, good communication skills, good presentability to GC's and owner, basic computer skills as well as: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Procore, & Bluebeam
Level of Journeyman pay is dependent on work experience and will likely increase with your experience with our team.
Qualifying applicants will likely be issued a company vehicle after 90day review, an acceptable driving record for insurance to allow and an interest in running or learning to run projects.
This is a permanent long term position
