Arora and Associates Entry Level Cadd Designer in Lawrenceville, New Jersey
As a member of an interdisciplinary design team, responsibilities may include:Organize and maintain CADD files for engineering projects including but not limited to civil, structural and electrical engineering plans and ROW plansPrepare construction plans conforming to CADD standards of transportation agencies such NJDOT, NJTA, PANYNJ, NJ Transit, PennDOT, PTC, NYSDOT and NYCDDCPrepare color plans for proposalsPrepare color displays for public meetingsWork closely with CADD coordinator and CADD staffPerform quality control tasks such as checking work of CADD techniciansMay require occasional travel to other Arora offices for temporary assignments RequirementsAssociate degree, vocational school or military training certificate in Engineering Graphics or related fieldEntry level to 3 years of progressive experience preparing engineering plans using CADDProficiency w/ Microstation or AutoCAD softwareAble to work independently and as part of a team, and be committed to completing assignments accurately and on timeThe following Experience is a Plus:Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, Revit and/or BIM preferredUnderstanding of NJ/NY/PA transportation agency CADD standards preferredAble to work independently and as part of a team, and be committed to completing assignments accurately and on time
