Essential Functions ?
Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
Designs and implements a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient and family.
Educates and counsels patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.
Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services.
Supervises activities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel.
Job Requirements ?
Minimum Education X Graduate of a Program in Discipline Required
Minimum Education X Master's degree Required
Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Required Skills Certifications: X Basic Life Support (BLS) □ Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) □ Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) □ Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) □ Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) Certifications may be obtained within 30 days of hire.
Required Skills Licenses: Current and active Speech Language Pathologist license in the State of Tennessee is required.
