The Regional Marketing Liason (RMK) Associate Director of Strategy and Operations will play a critical role in supporting the KarXT RMK team by supporting and executing critical strategic initiatives across the KarXT brand and ensuring operational excellence. This individual will oversee the planning, implementation, and optimization of processes to enhance the team's efficiency and effectiveness in engaging with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in psychiatry. The role requires strong strategic thinking, operational management skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple functions within the organization.

This role offers the opportunity to deepen commercial skills, as well as the chance to develop strategy and operations experience in a US commercial market. The awarded candidate will also gain pre-launch and post-launch experience, consistent exposure to the Neuroscience Commercial Leadership Team, and a thorough understanding of the collaboration within the US Neuroscience Cross-Functional Commercial Team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to support the objectives of the RMK team.

  • Align team activities with broader organizational goals, ensuring a cohesive approach to KOL engagement.

  • Design and optimize processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the RMK team.

  • Oversee the allocation of resources, including budget management, to support strategic initiatives and operational needs.

  • Ensure the team has the necessary tools, technology, and training to achieve their objectives.

  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between the RMK team and other internal stakeholders.

  • Represent the team in cross-functional meetings and projects, advocating for their needs and priorities.

  • Implement best practices in project management to ensure timely and successful execution of initiatives.

  • Develop a comprehensive field engagement congress strategy that pulls through brand Strategic Imperatives and key business opportunities.

  • Serve as the central, US commercial point across the matrix for all congress related activities.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree. MBA or advanced degree preferred but not required.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in strategy, operations, or a related role within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.

  • Experience in the field of psychiatry or with KOL engagement is highly desirable.

  • Proven experience in managing and optimizing processes to support strategic initiatives.

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels of the organization.Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast moving and increasingly complex environment with limited direction.

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed to support team activities and initiatives; up to 30%.
