Thus applicants should review the research that is being performed by KU Center for Genomics faculty. Primary responsibilities will be designing and performing experiments, analyzing data, and disseminating results based on an original research proposal. There will be considerable latitude in designing the original research proposal, but proposals should be related to center-affiliated research mentors. Other responsibilities include helping to organize an annual symposium and being an ambassador for the KU Center for Genomics.

The Center for Genomics ( https://genomics.ku.edu ) has many faculty members performing research in a wide range of disciplines.
