CIS Management, Inc. Full Charge Accountant in Lawernceville, New Jersey

Description

RESPONSIBILITIES ARE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Perform monthly, quarterly and year end closings on accrual and US GAAP basis

  • Preparation of Financial Statements

  • Prepare and analyze operating statements

  • Budget analysis

  • Review and analyze current and future cash requirements for properties

  • Prepare operating budgets in conjunction with property managers

  • Perform balance sheet analysis/work papers

  • Prepare for yearly audit and tax filings

  • Joint venture reporting

  • Very close coordination with Property Managers

  • Knowledge of Property Management accounting software, experience with Yardi is a strong plus

  • Strong Word/ Excel skills

  • Perform all other duties as assigned

  • Bachelors or better

Experience

Required

  • Must have 1 - 3 years’ experience as a Full Charge Accountant.

Preferred

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting

  • Experience as Accountant in Property Management a Plus

  • Solid understanding of accounts payable, receivables, cash management, intercompany accountant, and fixed asset accounting.

  • Ability to perform GAAP research for advanced accounting topics.

  • Must be able to prioritize workload and meet deadlines

  • Must have good communication skills

  • Must be able to work well independently as well as with others.

  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Yardi experience a plus.

  • Will consider candidates without property management accounting experience.
