Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. Environmental Scientist in Laurel, Maryland
Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is currently seeking an Environmental Scientist with 1-3 years of experience for our Laurel/Baltimore region. We're growing, and this is an excellent opportunity for an up-and-coming environmental professional to grow with us! This is a role for a dynamic individual looking for career growth in our Environmental Department, which serves a diverse client base, providing due diligence, regulatory consulting, site remediation, and similar services
Desired experience, skills and education:
BS Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or Environmental Engineering
1-3 years' experience in Phase I and Phase II ESAs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated, organized, and focused, with good attention to detail
Preparing effective reports and other deliverables (including appropriate figures, analysis summary tables, and exploration logs)
Preparing accurate Daily Field Reports, Chain of Custody forms, field logs, sketches, and similar project documentation
Willingness and ability to grow into such areas as Phase II ESAs, regulatory interaction, Brownfields redevelopment, vapor intrusion, site remediation, asbestos/lead-based paint surveys, and project management.

Annual Salary: $45,000 – $65,000
