Description:
General Summary
Slot Shift Supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision of the slot ambassadors. Follows all operating procedures, safety regulations, ensures compliance with gaming regulations and Aquarius policies and procedures. Reports to Shift Manager and/or Assistant Shift Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ensures compliance with all gaming regulations, internal policies and procedures.
Responsible for the approval of slot jackpots within departmental internal policies and procedures.
May be responsible for maintaining all aspects of departmental daily operations in the absence of a Shift Manager and/or Assistant Shift Manager.
Responsible for the supervision of team members in an assigned area to ensure proper guest service.
Works in conjunction with the Shift Manager and/or Assistant Shift Manager in training, evaluation and supervision of all team members within their scope of responsibility.
Works in conjunction with the Shift Manager and/or Assistant Shift Manager to detect any team member or guest irregularities.
Works in conjunction with all other departments, including Food & Beverage, Facilities, Casino Cage, etc., to ensure proper guest service.
Ensures consistent and timely compliance with all gaming and internal control policies and procedures.
Ensures that departmental guest service standards are met.
Effectively relates ideas for improvements, as well as soliciting team member input, both inside and outside of the department.
May be responsible for serving drinks to accommodate guest service/recovery.
Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations
Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Provide outstanding guest service to all internal and external guests.
Requirements:
Job Specifications - Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Managerial experience within gaming operations preferred.
Ability to operate computer equipment. Experience with a slot player tracking system or MS office experience a plus.
Apply common sense to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Good verbal and written communications skills.
Ability to communicate effectively in group as well as one-on-one situations.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Ability to perform these functions using American money.
Must possess excellent people skills.
Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations
Must be able to obtain and maintain all cards required by the company.
Must be able to verify right to work in the U.S.
Working Conditions – Physical Requirements
Ability to sit at a desk or table.
Regularly walk, stand or stoop.
Occasionally lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
Work for sustained periods of time maintaining concentrated attention to detail.
Need to distinguish between shades of color.
Communicate via radios.
