Summary About the position: This position will be assigned to the 47th Force Support Squadron, Laughlin Manor, located at Laughlin AFB, Del Rio, Texas. This position is a Flexible category, guaranteed a minimum of 0 hours but can work up to a maximum of 40 hours per week. May include nights, weekends and holidays. As a flexible employee, you are not eligible for leave or benefits. Responsibilities Provides bulk laundry services for items such as sheets and towels Operates commercial type washer and dryers. Receives, counts, sorts, bundles, washes dries, folds, and sorts linen. Writes laundry receiving and issuance reports. Keeps track of items received and items issued in return. Qualifying Experience: Must be able to operate large commercial washers and dryers. Provides bulk laundry service for items such as sheets, towels, mats and etc. Must be able to read, count, and sort laundry by type and condition and to make written entries on AF forms and cleaning tickets. Must be able to follow oral instructions. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying. Additional Information Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
