Program Summary

KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 14 countries.

Job Summary

As the GS Site Supervisor, you will be stationed at the project site and assume responsibility for overseeing all activities related to an industrial maintenance project. This project typically involves managing a workforce ranging from 25 to 350 individuals, comprising both direct hires and subcontracted workers. Your role involves ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, systems, and industry requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Implement all activities associated with industrial maintenance projects on-site.

  • Supervise a workforce of industrial maintenance mechanics, construction trades, and other service professionals.

  • Ensure compliance with established company policies, procedures, systems, and industry requirements.

  • Collaborate with Human Resources to address employee workplace issues.

  • Collaborate with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) professionals to resolve and prevent HSE issues.

  • Utilize knowledge of budget management and financial reporting.

  • Take ownership of Base Operations to maintain the site professionally.

  • Work collaboratively with other departments.

  • Keep management informed of issues and concerns.

  • Enforce the company's Zero Harm and Courage to Care Philosophy.

  • Communicate effectively with peers.

  • Compile and write reports.

  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with USG and LOGCAP representatives.

  • This role involves not only the technical aspects of site supervision but also requires effective collaboration, communication, and adherence to safety and company philosophies.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of directly related supervisory, management or foreman experience.

  • Must have at least 5 years of overall overseas contracting or otherwise directly related experience.

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree, Technical Degree or Trades Certification or Licensure (HVAC, Electric, Power Generation).

  • Requires fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) and excellent overall communication skills.

  • Must understand contract requirements and effectively manage contracts.

  • Requires a working knowledge of TDB Med 530, 577, Mil-Standards 3006C.

  • Must be knowledgeable in Work Instructions, Desk Operating Procedures, and Service Desk operations.

  • Must have experience in Custodial Services, Construction, and overseeing Subcontractors.

  • Requires experience collaborating with Human Resources to resolve employee workplace issues.

  • Must have experience collaborating with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) professionals to resolve and prevent HSE issues.

  • Knowledge and understanding of budget management and financial reporting is required.

  • Must be familiar with writing and compiling reports.

  • Requires familiarity with Technical Data Packages (TDP), Scope of Work (SOW) and Daily Service Log (DSVL).

  • Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.
