THE ROLE

Vibee is seeking an Event Programming Coordinator to support the Ticketing and Platform team. This detail-oriented position is responsible for the backend programming setup for client event on sales. They work in conjunction with the Ticketing and Platform Manager and Director to gather information necessary to properly program, audit, and facilitate the on sale and maintenance of event software operations for all events sold on the Vibee platform, as well as other Live Nation ticketing platforms. A successful Event Programmer will be extremely detail oriented, thorough and ensure total accuracy and adherence to all Vibee programming standards. The role is crucial to the success of all Vibee events and requires excellent organizational skills, strong problem-solving skills, and an ability to work efficiently, accurately, and effectively under pressure. This position reports to the Director, Ticketing and Platform.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain the programming for a roster of events, from initial engagement through the end of the event

  • Support internal departments with general questions, support and troubleshooting related to event programming

  • Gather event details via email, project management tools, and through meeting attendance with internal and external stakeholders to ensure proper understanding of details for configuration of events

  • Work with Ticketing and Platform team to assess proper timeline expectations based upon event build complexity and client requirements

  • Perform Event QA process to ensure programming accuracy and adherence to company compliance standards

  • Meet defined timelines around event programming

  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all internal and external teams

  • Assist in onsite ticketing management, when required

  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-2+ years of experience in the music, concert, and/or event industry

  • Box office or ticketing experience is considered an asset

  • Excellent inventory and project management skills.

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to prioritize, organize, problem solve, follow-up, and communicate.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Competency in spreadsheets, Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Airtable, and Asana

  • Must be an active problem solver, instilled with a sense of urgency for projects large and small

  • Superior oral and written communication.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to travel extensively and work evenings and weekends, as required

  • Must be able to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments

  • May work in drastic temperature climates

  • Must be willing to work during evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines

  • Must be willing and able to travel extensively both domestically and abroad

  • Must be able to continuously stand or walk.

  • Must be able to bend, squat, climb stairs and lift frequently

  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally

  • May occasionally walk on slippery or uneven surfaces

  • Position will expose candidate to sensitive company information and so must maintain strict confidentiality

  • Must exercise the utmost discretion in dealing with staff, vendors, and business associates regarding sensitive matters
