Your responsibilities

• Help map and record processes to pinpoint top risks and integrity controls

• Assist with the building of multiple audit programs by resolving the objective, scope, and work program of individual audits

• Communicate project status to members of the team in an efficient manner

• Create audit observations and recommendations to management both verbally and in writing

• Complete internal audits and SOX testing; to feature compliance with policies and procedures and assessing the design and operating effectiveness of the internal control structure

• Execute regular follow-up on both open and past due internal audit and SOX observations

• Complete special research and projects when help is needed

• Log test results and offer support for an objective and informed opinion of the risk exposure

• Help coordinate third-party compliance assessments and audits

  Requirements - Financial auditing experience preferred

• Adeptness in internal control review

• Demonstrated knowledge of Analysis Tools

• Foundational knowledge in Audit Functions

• Practical knowledge of Process Improvement Projects

• General familiarity with Analysis Techniques

• Comprehensive knowledge of SOX

• Internal Control experience highly desired

• Proficiency in Audit Compliance

• Process Improvement experience highly preferred

• 2+ years of public audit or consulting experience; corporate internal audit experience also acceptable

• CPA certification a plus

• Proficient with diversified computer software and systems

• Strong technical background in public accounting (GAAP)
