Anywhere Real Estate Sr Engineer Software Engineering - US Based Remote in Las Vegas, Nevada

Job Summary: The Anywhere Real Estate Core Capabilities API Engineering team develops reusable, enterprise capability APIs which are leveraged by both internal & external product development teams use to rapidly build and release real estate software! We are looking for a Senior Engineer with proven experience in developing cloud-native API applications using Node.js, MongoDB and AWS. Ideal candidate will also have hands-on experience in DevOps and some experience in developing AI-driven solutions. This is a senior code-contributing role that requires excellent collaboration, communication, and user documentation skills. The successful candidate will be a high-energy individual who can develop peer relationships that build on positive and open interaction.

We work closely with various product teams to ensure our APIs meet the highest standards and drive the success of our applications. Responsibilities:

· Design, implement and support flexible, scalable, and resilient software solutions.

· Perform code reviews and contribute to team coding style and standards.

· Collaborate closely with our Product, EA and other enterprise teams to develop innovative solutions.

· Leverage an automation first approach for software delivery and operational support.

· Provide clear communications to all team members, collaborators, and enterprise partners.

· Be an agent of change and adopt new technologies in support of constantly evolving business goals.

Qualifications:

· 7+ years of experience as a code-contributing member of an Agile Development Team.

· 5+ years as a Node.js developer building microservices and RESTful services.

· 4+ years in developing cloud-native applications using AWS Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, SQS, Kafka etc.

· 3+ years in developing in using MongoDB Atlas or similar.

· 3+ years in scripting CI/CD pipelines and DevOps.

· 1+ years in either of AWS CloudFormation/ AWS CDK/ Terraform.

· Some experience in building AI-driven solutions will be a plus.

· Strong communication skills (written & verbal).

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with additional programming languages (e.g., Python, Java).

· Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular).

· Experience with data engineering and big data technologies.

· Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environment.
