Description

We are seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our team in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role involves ensuring accurate financial records, performing account reconciliations, processing transactions, and supporting the implementation of financial systems and processes. This role is key to our operations within the investment holding industry.

Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable with accuracy and efficiency.

• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.

• Maintain general ledger accounting and perform month-end close activities.

• Carry out balance sheet account reconciliation and monthly account reconciliation.

• Process payroll, including multi-state payroll and payroll taxes.

• Utilize QuickBooks and Netsuite for various accounting tasks.

• Prepare financial reports, including monthly financial reports and annual financial reporting.

• Support the implementation of ERP System conversions.

• Perform cash reconciliations and manage treasury accounts.

• Oversee internal and external financial reporting.

Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role or in the field of accounting.

• Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management.

• Demonstrated experience in Payroll processing, including Multi-state Payroll and Payroll Taxes.

• Expertise in General Ledger management and Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation.

• Strong skills in Account Reconciliation, including Monthly Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Account Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, Cash Reconciliations, and Credit Card Reconciliation.

• Experienced in handling Month-end Close Activities.

• Proficiency in using financial software like QuickBooks and Sage Intacct.

• Ability to handle Annual Financial Reporting, External Financial Reports, Financial Reconciliation, Financial Reporting, Internal Financial Reporting, Monthly Financial Reporting, Monthly Financial Reports, Prepare Financial Reports, and SEC Financial Reporting.

• Applicants must possess excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.

• Professional certification such as CPA is highly desirable.
