FirstService Residential Resident Services Manager in Las Vegas, Nevada

Job Overview:

As a Resident Services Manager, you’ll be responsible for providing high-level support to management in the overall operations of your assigned property. Along with delivering exceptional customer service to owners, residents, clients, and vendors. Oversee projects and staff associated with the management of property.

Compensation: $60,000 annual salary

FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, certifications, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a client's property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the client's directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Directly oversees all Management Office administrative staff, Front Desk Services, and Concierge along with the onsite supervisor for the outsourced company.
  • Daily supervisory level inspections in conjunction with the General Manager and Operations Manager, including grounds, lobbies, clubhouse, and pool deck.
  • Vendor and service provider interaction daily to ensure that goods and or services are being received per contracts in place.
  • Assist the General Manager in the oversight of all aspects of the operations.
  • Must be able to attend weekday committee meetings and/or other events as well as be available to return to the property in the event of an emergency as determined by the General Manager.
  • Serve as the primary on-site person responsible for the oversight of the operation of the Management Information Systems, including FirstService Connect or similar systems.
  • Coordinate outsourcing for various repairs that do not fall under the purview of the Operations Manager.
  • In conjunction with the General Manager and Operations Manager, where appropriate collect and present bids for repair and replacement of certain non-mechanical items.
  • Facilitate resolution of resident complaints.
  • Administer and facilitate all security surveillance.
  • Facilitate internal communication as required and maintenance.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of management experience, preferably in property management.
  • Must have project management experience to assist the General Manager with processes.
  • Experience working on multiple projects at a time.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent word processing, mathematic, and computer skills required.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
  • A combination of experience in the areas of customer service, administrative assistance, and supervision of others of 2-3 years required.
  • Experience working in the Community Management Industry and/or Hospitality Industry is desirable.

Physical Requirements:

  • Capable of working extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
  • Must be able to speak English in a clear and understandable voice so that various types of communications may be conducted with people of various levels of education and capabilities, including the exchange and receipt of information over the telephone.
  • Position involves sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, pushing, shoving, lifting, carrying, and moving objects that can weigh up to 15 lbs. This movement can occur throughout the day. Must also be able to climb several flights of stairs if necessary.
  • This position will alternate between working indoors in a controlled climate and with proper lighting, in an outdoors setting with variable climate.
  • Must be able to interact with all types of individuals, be mentally alert, detail-oriented, and with good reasoning.
  • Must have finger dexterity for typing/using a keyboard.

Work Location : Las Vegas, NV

Work Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
