Description:
Summary:
Facilitates the design and development process of on-property marketing collateral, creative jobs/requests, and direct mailings with the corporate creative agency. Thoroughly understand MGT kiosk system and configure all promotions and direct marketing programs for the property. Tracks progress of all marketing projects, follows up as necessary to ensure their timely completion and keeps marketing director informed of progress. Assist with defining operational plans for projects, promotions, and drawings, and manage the execution of such. Execute events/promotions to include planning, set-up, tear down and staffing.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Open and monitor creative jobs/requests for all collateral and media applications. Perform the proper follow-up for each job including proofing and tracking to ensure timely delivery
Perform all administrative duties for Director of Marketing and marketing managers for both AZ properties
Maintain monthly property signage and other collateral, including a property signage map
Serve as main point of contact for property marketing department, acts as a liaison between marketing and other departments. Be available to address questions or concerns regarding all marketing related topics
Manage the direct mail copy content process, including final proofing
Meet with department heads to create departmental events and marketing promotions
Attend all marketing meetings to take and distribute notes, track action items, create and maintain a working marketing calendar documenting past and future progress
Monitor and maintain correct usage of AZ branding and property specifications on all collateral and media applications
Understand and assist with the operational implementation of the corporate marketing strategy as it relates to player development and special events, ensuring corporate standards are followed
Assist with the planning of marketing events and assists the property marketing teams with day-to-day functions as needed
Order promotional and administrative items through the purchasing system and monitor and maintain promotional inventory
Thoroughly understand MGT kiosk system and configure all promotional programs for the property. Serve as proofer and back up MGT point person for sister property
Provide input in the evaluation of the profitability and operational success of promotions/events
Make recommendations whether the event should be conducted again in the future
Track process of promotions from conception to finish. Resolve any issues that may be delaying the promotion from being completed on time
Execute promotions and events to include planning, set-up, tear down and staffing
Ensure rules are complete, operationally sound and in compliance with gaming regulations for all promotions and events
Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Qualifications
Minimum 2-4 years marketing or advertising experience preferred
Prior gaming or hospitality experience in the marketing department preferred
Prior experience managing projects required
Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office required
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays to support special events
Excellent customer services skills (internal or external)
Must be at least 21 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent required
College degree in marketing or related field preferred
Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
Verify right to work in the United States
