Job Summary and Qualifications

The Cardio Vascular Certified Surgical Technologist functions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and performs delegated functions. If that is you, come be a part of what makes us great and apply today!

• Assumes responsibility to assist the surgeon by preparing and handling instruments, supplies, and equipment to maintain an aseptic environment through specific techniques and practice

• He/she adheres to policy and procedures, observes Universal Precautions and is responsible for meeting the Standards of Care

Qualifications:

• Graduate from high school or equivalent program

• Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology

• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support

• Current certification by the NBSTSA, AST, NCCT or NCCSA required

• Minimum 1 year in a health care setting

• CVOR Scrubbing
