Robert Half is looking for an Accounting Manager that is focused, eager, and experienced for an immediate opening at a dynamic, progressive company. In this position, you will be responsible for leading daily operations, including maintaining the general ledger system, preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. An integral part of this position is establishing and scaling company accounting and finance operations. What you get to do every single day:

• Team up with FP& A and accounting management to develop relevant, timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook

• Provide regular review and analysis of balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Senior Accountant

• Encourage and manage the full accounting team performance so that close deadlines are met

• Contribute to the preparation of GAAP financial statements through data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes

• Assist in the implementation of NetSuite Financials, which includes designing systems and processes, migrating data, testing, training, and administrating

• Organize a variety of technical accounting analyses, procedures, and policies

• Possessing a thorough knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

  Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience

• CPA/MBA preferred

• Customer service-oriented communication skills

• Month end closings experience

• Foundational knowledge in budget forecasting

• Well-founded grasp of reconciliations

• Journal entries experience

• Proven knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Accounts Payable (AP) experience highly desired

• 3+ years of recent relevant financial experience

• Ability to simplify complex problems and build solutions.

• Solid understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
