As a Global Payout Solutions - Execution Capability Manager your job is to own the health, improvement, measurement, compliance and automation of the incentives payouts processes and tools used by our stakeholders, customers and partners on a daily basis. You will own relationships with various Business, Operations and Engineering groups to understand existing processes and systems while driving improvements to the same. You will be accountable for the effectiveness of your processes and have deep understanding of the performance of your area in market, including the performance of your process area within the competitive landscape.

Manage claim to payment execution and compliance for designated area of responsibility.
Work with your peers and execution vendors to ensure execution to service level agreements (SLA) for your capability, understanding how changes upstream or downstream of your processes will impact overall payout SLA, with Full working knowledge of tools and methodologies in accordance with compliance and control.
Execute governance for your capability/processes, maintaining documentation for flow, controls, underlying systems, and requirements needed.
Maintain stakeholder engagement rhythm to drive process outcomes and maintain partnerships by addressing pain points and collaborating with business partners to identify alternative solutions and options to resolve challenges.
Capture and document technical requirements for our calculations and payments and capture a working Plan of Record for process improvements, driving change control, managing issues and escalation, triage, cross group coordination and milestone management.
Design, store, and utilize relevant data as it pertains to your capability and programs.
Responsible for tier 3 support in execution activities & review support drivers to identify efficiency opportunities.
Process Improvement Responsibilities:
Design processes and define business outcomes for your capability to assess process performance and Provide input for definition of yearly goals.
Identify & Implement process improvement opportunities and analyze them for efficiency (waste, complexity, cost), effectiveness (achieves desired outcome), and quality.
Clearly and effectively communicate findings and makes recommendations for improvement.
Identify root causes of problems and demonstrate the ability to provide recommendations for practical solutions.
Execute change management for your capability using understanding of the business (e.g., readiness, timing, impact on stakeholders, data, tools, systems, policy, return on investment [ROI])
Have curiosity and apply analytical skills to dive deep into data to find key insights that impact the business and translate data into recommendations. Utilize tools like SQL, R, Python to execute analyses.
Translate business and operational strategies into actionable process improvement efforts with defined outcomes.
Work with both business and engineering teams to define, instrument and execute upon process measures and metrics that tie to lines of business and Corporate Key Performance Indicators.
Design processes for automation / workflow / process execution; lead business requirements gathering.
Execute risk mitigation controls and anticipate risk across your capability & process lifecycle (e.g., design, execution, optimization, evaluation).

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field AND 4+ years process management, process execution, process optimization, or related experience
OR Master's Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field AND 2+ years process management, process execution, process optimization, or related experience
OR equivalent experience.
Have an understanding of Microsoft's business, product, and technical strategies, and cross-group program/project leadership and management skills.
Analytical skills and experience with performance improvement methodologies.
Experience in process mapping, modeling or mining.
Experience working with large volumes of data and making data driven decisions.
Comfortable working with ambiguity & adept at using data to influence business decision making
A demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels within an organization
Python programming: You should have a grasp of Python syntax, data structures, and algorithms.
Ability to code AI models: While you won’t need to be an expert AI developer, you should be able to code simple AI models and understand the code written by AI engineers. This will enable you to communicate effectively with the technical team and provide clear project requirements.
Experience with Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel Skills preferred. Solid knowledge of PowerPoint and the ability to prepare and deliver leadership presentations

Process Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $91,800 - $178,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $117,900 - $195,000 per year.
