Job Title: Inventory Counter
Salary/Grade: £12.82 per hour
Location : Larne
Benefits:
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
Up to 6% bonus
Contributory pension scheme - Caterpillar will double the employee's contribution up to 6%

The opportunity
As the Inventory Counter, you will ensure that the stock levels are audited to the required standard for Caterpillar Production System reporting. The Inventory Counter is responsible for carrying out the audit, recording the results, and ensuring that these are provided to the Inventory Analyst. You will be working closely with and supporting the following key business areas: Operations, Logistics, Material Planning Team, Manufacturing Engineering and Quality.
What you will do:
Perform the required number of counts per week.
Stores counts will be performed using a Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) truck.
Ensure that the counts are performed according to all relevant standard procedures.
Record the results of the counts into the appropriate spreadsheet.
Communicate the collated results for the audits performed each week to the Inventory Analysts.
Assist the Inventory Analyst to complete root cause and corrective action on incorrect stock levels where appropriate.
What you have:
Knowledge of SAP inventory transactions.
GCSE Maths and English Grade C.
Previous experience using Microsoft Office packages, including Excel.
Flexibility to work a variety of shift patterns and a reasonable amount of overtime.
Desirable:
Product experience and knowledge relating to generators.
Counterbalance forklift truck licence.
VNA licence.
Warehouse operations experience.
Additional information:
- This position is currently an in-office work model, requiring a 4-day weekly office presence onsite at our Larne office. However, work arrangements may be adjusted at any time based on business needs.
