Job Title: Laboratory Assistant

Adecco is currently partnering with a local client in Laramie, Wyoming, in the search for a Laboratory Assistant. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team environment and gain valuable experience in a laboratory setting.

Location: Laramie, Wyoming

Employment Type: Temporary (with potential for permanent placement)

Hours: Full-time, 7:30 pm to 5pm

Pay: $16 per hour

Job Description:

As a Laboratory Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the lab. Your responsibilities will include various tasks such as sample preparation, receiving supplies, and providing assistance to chemists as needed. This is a temporary position initially, with the potential to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately weigh materials for experiments and testing procedures.

• Adhere to safety protocols by wearing appropriate protective gear, including eye protection and gloves.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of your lab station.

• Perform tasks that may require sitting for extended periods and involve repetitive movements.

• Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations.

• Work efficiently to meet deadlines while upholding quality standards and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 10 pounds.

• Strong attention to detail and precision in work.

• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.

Pay Details: $16.00 per hour
