Panasonic Inventory Planner in Lantau, Hong Kong
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Logistics, Inventory and Vendor management:
• Support the Logistics and Inventory planning & activity in line station and working closely with Supply Chain Organization.
• Oversees the contracted logistic supplier on a day-to-day basis.
• Reviews,analyzes and plan for Spares to be carried in stock in accordance to operational demand of the Customer fleet and initiates timely request to ensure availability.
• Monitors the movement of spares inventory to formulate control measures to keep optimum level of inventory in line station.
• Responsible for tracking Company’s spares to ensure that they are processed in, issued out and subsequent return of unserviceable units in a timely and accurate manner
• Prepares the Repair Orders and any other necessary repair paperwork with complete details and shipped to the Repair facilities.
• Evaluates and recommend items for surplus returns and disposal.
• Reviews parts requirement for IFE deferrals, work order and campaigns. For deferrals to ensure that the Deferral closure KPI is met.
• Responsible for tracking deferrals to resolution. This involves assisting trouble shooting efforts with sufficient spares support, planning and requesting aircraft downtime and ensuring that spares are available to resolve the defect.
• Coordinates the transferring of IFE materials and supplies movements to designated warehouses, shops and/or end-users; and to dispatch for shipment to outstations, repair shop other global PTS locations.
• Ensures all inventory transactions are updated into RAMCO and the monthly cycle counts are completed accurately and within required timeframe.
• Additional Maintenance Planning:
• Plan, oversees and coordinates the timely completion of monthly media updates on aircraft, ensuring timely return, loading and delivery of required drives.
• Reporting of Daily major events, deferral status and spare shortages.
• Monitor and manage Station Tooling and Equipment calibration validity and schedule.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to effectively communicate with internal departments, external vendors and management levels.
• Ability to solve moderate to complex logistical and technical problems
.• In-depth knowledge of all Company’s systems• Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledgeable of aircraft maintenance/repair industry and/or Logistics industry.
• Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
• Must work well in a high-stress, high-pressure environment.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Diploma or equivalent in Logistics or Supply Chain
• 5 or more years in inventory and logistics or related experience is required.
• Experience in IFE equipment is highly preferable.
• Direct user experience with Ramco Aviation Suite software highly preferable.• Advanced user of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• Current driving license and obtain airport ramp driving permit.• May be required to work day, swing or night shift.
• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computer components.• .
