Robert Half is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Accountant to join a close-knit team in the tax and accounting services field. This role offers a collaborative small-team environment and requires in-person work to ensure timely completion of accounting and finance functions with precision. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the general ledger within QuickBooks, including entering and reviewing journal entries.

• Perform accurate account reconciliations to ensure financial records are correct and up to date.

• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, particularly during month-end close.

• Prepare journal entries and assist with related accounting tasks.

• Leverage Microsoft Excel to complete financial reporting and data analysis.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks, necessary for preparing and assessing financial data and reports.

• Ability to manage Month-End Close processes with accuracy and efficiency to meet reporting deadlines.

• Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable (AP) management, including tasks such as processing invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and coordinating payment schedules.

• Skilled in Accounts Receivable (AR) responsibilities, such as drafting invoices, applying payments, and resolving overdue account issues.

• Expertise in maintaining the General Ledger, including performing account reconciliations and posting journal entries accurately.
