We are adding to our Clinical team with the new role of Scientific Communications Manager! This role is responsible for the development and dissemination of scientific information that supports the clinical value of our products within the Cochlear Americas region. This role encompasses generation of scientific publications, evidence curation, and the communication of scientific information to stakeholders. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including regulatory affairs, marketing, and clinical development to ensure that all communications are accurate, compliant, and aligned with the Cochlear Americas strategic objectives.nnKey Responsibilitiesnn * Scientific Content Creation: Create high-quality, peer-reviewed articles, abstracts, posters, and white papers that support the clinical value of Cochlear products / services.n * Scientific Communication: In collaboration with marketing, support the establishment of processes for omni-channel dissemination of evidence.n * Conference Participation: Collaborate with internal experts and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for impactful presentations, symposia, and panel participation.n * Content Review: Participate in the content review board (CRB) to review and approve claims in marketing materials, presentations, and product brochures to ensure accuracy and compliance.n * Clinical Trials: Provide input on clinical trial protocol development and review clinical study reports to verify that the data is accurately presented, well-organized, and easy to interpret.nnKey Requirements nnTo add value to Cochlear in this role you'll be able to meet and demonstrate the following knowledge, skills, and abilities in your application and at interview:nn * Master's Degree or Ph.D. required.n * 5+ years of experience in scientific communications, medical affairs, or clinical research within the medical device or healthcare industry.n * Successful and demonstrable publication record in scientific peer reviewed journals, professional forums, and patient forums from creation to publication.n * Familiarity with clinical trial design and statistics and their application for interpretation and presentation of clinical data.n * Some travel will be required, including quarterly visits to the Denver office.n * Must possess work rights in the United States to be considered for this opportunity.nnTotal RewardsnnIn addition to the opportunity to develop your knowledge and grow professionally, we offer competitive wages and benefits.nn * Pay Range in the United States: $128,000 - $138,000 per year, based upon experience, as well as an annual bonus opportunity of 15% of base salary.
