Peckham Inc. - PATH Coordinator
POSITION SUMMARY
The PATH Coordinator provides leadership and supervision of the Peckham PATH contract program located at CAMW!. This position performs personnel management that include, maintaining discipline, administering performance reviews. Also, responsible for overseeing support services to individuals receiving cash assistance or Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) who participate in the Partnership. Accountability. Training. Hope. (PATH) program in alignment with program budget. This position will work in coordination with CAMW! Administration, DHHS, PATH & FAET Program manager and area agencies to fulfill the requirements of the PATH contract. The Coordinator is responsible for team outcomes as measured by the contract. This is a grant funded position.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Evaluate and approve requests for supportive services, monitor account
Ensure conformance with all PATH policy and contract requirements and deadlines
Assist in monitoring OSMIS, hard copy files and client participation documentation to assure contract and policy compliance for audit by CAMW! and the Workforce Development Association State of Michigan (WDASOM) for TANF internal controls and SOM file audits
Assist in developing program budget and monitor expenses, assist with development of bid for services
Attend meetings as required by CAMW!, DHHS, Peckham and other partner agencies
Provide excellent customer service and communication with PATH participants, staff, and partner agencies
Assist in making continuous improvement efforts in program design, service delivery, and customer service in order to meet the changing needs of stakeholders and to exceed established performance expectations as defined in the contract
Provide individual counseling and crisis intervention for participants - As needed
Utilize a team approach to provide support and resources to the entire PATH staff in advancing Peckham’s mission
Provide support to public job seekers and Employment Services staff
Assist in providing leadership and supervision of the Peckham PATH program staff
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain safe and clean work environment
Promote Peckham’s vision values and services to all customers and stakeholders
Assist in maintaining organizational wide quality standards
Other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does have direct supervisory responsibility
This position assists in supervising PATH program staff. Number of staff to be determined by contract allocations
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must pass and maintain criminal background checks
Maintain ability to provide transportation to people
Must maintain an unrestricted Michigan driver’s license and maintain a driving record (as per approval by company insurance policy) to drive the company vehicle
Must have access to reliable transportation for frequent trips off site as needed
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous case management experience highly preferred; prior CAMW! adult program services experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, psychology, or equivalent preferred
or four years’ related experience and/or training
or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 2010 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), Windows 7, and SharePoint.
