Cooley Law School seeks an Infrastructure and Security Manager. This position is located at Cooley's Lansing, Michigan campus.
The Infrastructure and Security Manager oversees management, operations, and support of the Law School's infrastructure. Provides technical expertise and leadership relating to the design, installation, and configuration of physical, virtual, and logical network solutions. Monitors and administers infrastructure-related issues and policies; reviews and responds to firewall and server log events. Identifies and resolves hardware and software problems on local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) components and systems. Serves as point of contact to resolve problems with external networks. Maintain and support VMware environment and firewalls.
Successful candidates will possess all or many of the following qualifications and/or skills: knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired through an associate's degree; or at least four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; a minimum of four years of related experience; Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), COMP TIA A+ and Network+, VMware Certified Professional; and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, preferred; excellent group and individual management skills; lead projects; effective oral and written communication skills; ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Ability to interact positively with individuals from a variety of diverse backgrounds.
