Job Description:

Seeking a transformational, experienced, and dynamic leader as Global Head of Enterprise Platforms. This role will report to the Envista CIO and collaborate with other IT leaders to build an enterprise-wide IT strategy with ERP capabilities as the backbone. This experienced leader will possess current knowledge and future vision of leveraging information technology to deliver capabilities directly supporting business objectives.

The Head of Enterprise Platforms leads the global IT team who oversees the design, development, delivery and maintenance of our enterprise platforms and solutions, which support the breadth of operating companies (OpCo’s) across Envista’s dental portfolio. You will be responsible for defining and implementing the IT enterprise platform strategy, standards, and best practices. You will also collaborate with business stakeholders, IT managers, and solution architects to understand the business requirements and translate them into IT solutions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the IT enterprise platform strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with the business vision and goals.

  • Lead and manage a team of IT platform engineers, architects, analysts, and developers to understand the business requirements and translate them into IT solutions.

  • Provide guidance, coaching, and performance evaluation to ensure the team has the skills, tools, and support to deliver quality IT services.

  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of our enterprise platforms and applications, such as [ERP, SAP/Oracle EBS, etc.].

  • Manage the IT enterprise platform budget and resources, ensuring that IT projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

  • Monitor and evaluate the IT enterprise platform performance and outcomes, using IT metrics and analytics, and provide regular reports and feedback to senior management and stakeholders.

  • Identify and implement opportunities for IT enterprise platform improvement, innovation, and optimization.

  • Design, develop, and implement enterprise platforms and solutions that are scalable, reliable, secure, and cost-effective, using best practices and methodologies.

  • Evaluate and adopt new and emerging technologies and platforms that can enhance the business capabilities and outcomes.

Job Requirements:

  • Must have 15+ years of experience within IT, with at least 7+ years of global IT leadership responsibilities in an environment with a mix of on-premises, hosted, and cloud hardware and software.

  • Deep experience in leading digital technology adoption with commercial (Sales and Marketing) and manufacturing functions.

  • Firsthand experience with ERP (SAP and/or Oracle) implementation and systems consolidation.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred

  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, organizational design and development.

  • Aptitude to establish a strong agile product management discipline in IT.

  • Ability to effectively communicate and instill confidence with peers and all key stakeholders, with excellent business acumen and sound business judgment.

  • Knowledge of public company regulatory and compliance standards.

  • Strong knowledge of IT enterprise platform best practices, standards, and technologies

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of IT professionals.

  • Strategic and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to translate business needs and goals into IT platform solutions.

  • Budget and resource management skills, with the ability to optimize and allocate IT platform resources and costs.

  • IT governance and compliance skills, with the ability to ensure adherence to IT platform standards, policies, and procedures.

  • Continuous learning and improvement skills, with the ability to keep abreast of new and emerging technologies and platforms.

Target Market Salary Range:

Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
