Job Title: HVAC Service Technician

Job Description

As an HVAC Service Technician, you will troubleshoot HVAC equipment and systems, perform preventive maintenance, and replace defective parts. You will act as a trusted adviser to recommend appropriate repairs and upgrades to our customers while discussing pricing, value, and advantages. Building strong customer relationships and understanding their needs is crucial. You will also perform related work as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot HVAC equipment and systems and replace defective parts.

• Perform preventive maintenance on all types of HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation and identify potential problems.

• Act as a trusted adviser to recommend appropriate repairs and upgrades to customers.

• Discuss pricing, value, and advantages of recommended repairs and upgrades.

• Build strong customer relationships and understand new and existing customer needs and expectations.

• Perform related work as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Troubleshoot electrical systems

• EPA Universal certification

• Experience with HVAC commercial systems

• Boiler maintenance and repair

• Mechanical skills

• Troubleshooting and repair skills

• Electrical knowledge

• Experience with warranty items, repair, install, service, and preventative maintenance

Work Environment

You will be working on existing commercial construction sites, mostly within 1.5 hours of Harleysville, PA. The job involves working outside, so weather conditions must be taken into consideration. You will be part of teams consisting of 1-6 people. The dress code includes work boots, jeans, and a company shirt. Projects include working on warehouses, schools, retirement facilities, car dealerships, and strip malls. The work schedule is from 7am to 3pm, Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours per week.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of the Greater Philadelphia area.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $85000.00
