Specific Roles & Responsibilities:

  • The specialist will gather strategic direction and build consensus for the event strategy and goals – articulating the value of each engagement as they align to goals, develop the metrics and measurement for ongoing program accountability and improvement.

  • Develop, document, and implement annual trade show and event strategic plan, establish success metrics and report out on those metrics.

  • You will quarterback the event program, while working side-by-side with colleagues in marketing, commercial, and product teams, engineering, and other technical roles, to build our global trade show and technical event presence in a way that builds our brand and gets results. Generate creative ideas to drive traffic to our booth.

  • Manage effective tradeshow and conference specific event strategies that support a variety of industries including Aerospace & Defense, Semiconductor, Energy, and more.

  • You will negotiate and manage all aspects of the event, and meticulously manage the budget, expense and accounting processes supporting each event.

  • Work with supplier-partners to arrange space, marketing collateral, hotels, equipment rental, and set-up and dismantling of the exhibit.

  • Determine booth location at key shows, communication, travel arrangements, staffing.

  • Ensure accurate set-up, venue arrangements, timely delivery of supplies/resources, and vendor coordination.

  • Manage the annual trade show calendar, and project timelines.

  • Plan and execute special client events for select high-profile conferences.

  • Identify and contract Sponsorship, promotion, and advertising that meets program goals.

  • Design and delivery of compelling, clear and impactful branded event experience.

  • Manages digital marketing engagement before, during, and after the event (social media & email marketing)

  • Motivate sales team and collaborate with them on effective sales techniques by coaching effective sales techniques in support of events.

  • Oversees lead transition from event to sales

Required Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Minimum associate degree or higher; 4-year Marketing or related degree preferred

Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years in Event Marketing, Trade Show or Conference Marketing in a B2B; (Event/Tradeshow management in the Manufacturing, Industrial space a plus)

  • 5 years in a B2B marketing– familiarity and experience with branding, creative process, communications, initiative management, digital marketing resources required.

  • Proven track record of managing and executing effective tradeshow and event programs.

  • International event & tradeshow program management a plus

  • Excellent attention to detail, and efficient project management skills

  • Demonstrated ability to multitask in a highly dynamic environment.

  • Must possess strong organizational skills with the capacity to work closely with Senior Leadership
