We're hiring a Consumer Training Specialist to join our Consumer Training Team in Kulpsville, PA.

Responsibilities  

40% - Responsible for classroom training and development of new and existing Consumer Staff using the standards established for all customer interactions.

30% - Responsible setting up, tracking and reporting online course offerings through Univest's Learning Management System as well as acting as point person for external training opportunities, notary registrations and NMLS tracking as needed.

20% - Responsible for assisting in the design, development and delivery of new training initiatives relating to onboarding of new employees. Update and redesign of existing Consumer initiatives, including the updating of the SSR course curriculum, training manuals, Career Path Certification testing and online certification questions for SSRs as well as developing ideas for changes in the curriculum.

10% - Prepare training materials for new hire classes and other consumer initiatives.

Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the position, including the Univest Code of Conduct

Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications  

Minimum 5 years consumer bank experience preferred; previous experience with teller and platform problem resolution with proper results required

Ability to assess current training needs, create training to close knowledge gaps and evaluate future needs.

Excellent written communication skills for course development and communicating of training results to trainee's supervisors.

Working knowledge of personal development strategies in areas of sales, customer service and communication skills

Ability to work accurately, deal with deadlines, and prioritize workload; strong organizational skills

Excellent oral communication for classroom, one-on-one training and phone interactions

Knowledge and understanding of bank procedures and settlements; accountability for following and educating all check cashing procedures and other security measures

Neat, professional appearance and demeanor at all times; ability to supervise and counsel trainees on professional conduct during the training time
