Our work depends on a Program Manager to develop, lead, and operate Insider Threat programs at Federal agencies. As a Project Manager, you will implement GDIT’s cutting-edge Insider Threat technologies and processes to enhance the protection of our nation’s high-value assets and mission-critical data. The ideal candidate has experience with Insider Threat programs and tools in the Federal sector. You will help our customers meet mission needs by putting the policies, processes, and tools in place to strengthen protections against vulnerabilities inside the firewall.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of external company program(s). Directs all phases of program(s) from inception through completion. Organizes interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the program on schedule and within budget constraints. Serves as the primary contact for the customer on matters pertaining to the program.

  • Manages the successful completion of all tasks in assigned program area including technical work, financial and business development activities.

  • Supervises assigned technical and administrative staff, including subordinate supervisors, and performs personnel actions including hiring and performance evaluation.

  • Assures quality of program products, services, and deliverables, including participating in reviews, audits, and site visits

  • Performs business development activities at all stages, including the preparation and review of technical and cost proposals.

  • Performs program financial management services, including financial analysis, budget and cost quote preparation, cost management, reconciliation, and profit enhancement.

  • Coordinates and monitors sub-contractor activities and administers subcontractor deliverables and finances.

  • Develops, reviews, and approves plans, schedules, consulting agreements and other program documents.

  • Prepares and provides various reports and technical reviews to senior management as requested.

  • Ensures compliance with relevant corporate and government policies and standards.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Required Qualifications:

  • Required Education: Bachelors and 5+ years of relevant experience.

  • PMP, ITIL, CSM, Six Sigma certifications or others specific to job assignment

  • Ability to manage multiple programs and projects simultaneously.

  • Effective business development skills including proposal development and preparation.

  • Effective communication skills

  • Detailed knowledge of relevant government regulations and standards

  • Effective administrative and organizational skills

  • Effective people management skills

  • Experience in program management, project management, personnel with demonstrated success managing an analytics team across a large, complex organization.

Recommended Skills and Abilities:

  • Advanced knowledge of company policies, processes, and procedures

  • Experience implementing and supporting Insider Threat programs within the Financial Services Industry or US Intelligence Community.

  • Experience implementing User Behavior Analytics governance processes; specifically, the discipline to organize reporting, analytics and manipulate data to support analytical models and filters.

  • Understanding of financial management policies, processes, and procedures

  • Awareness of company strategic goals and how they align to business operations.

Location: DC metro area preferred but remote applicants considered. Team members living in the DC metro need to travel to client sites at the discretion of the government lead. The Government site is in Lanham, MD.

Must be a US Person: Citizen, Permanent, Resident/Green-card holder or a US Asylee) and be able to pass the agency required background investigation.

The likely salary range for this position is $123,250 - $166,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
